Finding Funding Opportunities: Federal, State, Foundation, Corporation and Ohio State

During this workshop, the panelists reviewed federal, state, foundation, corporation, and Ohio State funding opportunities that provide large and small amounts and are appropriate for all audiences: faculty, staff, and graduate students. Topics included demonstrations of funding databases such as infoEd Global SPIN and the Foundation Center, review of upcoming program announcements, non-traditional sources of funding, how to use Google Alerts to monitor website announcements or key phrases from areas of research, how the EHE Office of Advancement can link you to prospective foundations within your research area and interdisciplinary research opportunities.
