Our Bilingual Endorsement trains Ohio educators who hold a standard Ohio teaching certificate or license to work with emergent bilingual students in pre-k to 12th grade.
This multi-age endorsement provides teachers with coursework and field experience focused on:
- bilingual language acquisition,
- bilingual programs and curricula,
- assessment and
Endorsement candidates must specialize and demonstrate proficiency in a language other than English.

ATTN: All Endorsement Applicants - A minimum 50 clock hours of field experiences are required for each additional licensure area beyond the candidate's initial license. This new state requirement applies to all endorsement areas.
