P-6 Mathematics Specialist

The P-6 mathematics endorsement is a graduate-level program for teachers who want to specialize in math instruction. This endorsement trains Ohio educators who hold a standard Ohio teaching certificate or license to coach and deliver professional development for mathematics teachers as well as provide leadership in mathematics education.

Educators interested in pursuing this endorsement are required to have at least three years of successful teaching experience in mathematics.

ATTN: All Endorsement Applicants - A minimum of 50 clock hours of field experiences is required for each additional licensure area beyond the candidate's initial license. This state requirement applies to all endorsement areas.
