The graduate-level coursework for the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Endorsement is designed to train Ohio educators who hold a standard Ohio teaching certificate or license to teach English language learners.
This multi-age endorsement provides teachers with coursework – as well as a field experience – focused on language acquisition, culture, instruction, assessment and advocacy related to English language learners in pre-K to 12th grade.

ATTN: All Endorsement Applicants - A minimum of 50 clock hours of field experiences is required for each additional licensure area beyond the candidate's initial license. This state requirement applies to all endorsement areas.
