Business Education Teacher Education

Business Education is a specialization of the Technical Education and Training major. The program objectives are to provide an appropriate series of courses and experiences to enable graduates to successfully enter teaching, leadership, training, and supervisory positions in private or public industry, or to seek admission to graduate programs in workforce development and education.

Non-EHE students who are interested in changing their major to Business Education Teacher Education must complete an information session prior to meeting with an academic advisor.

Business Education Teacher Education is a competitive major. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA and 12 Ohio State credit hours
  • Two years of occupational experience in area of concentration (preferred)
