A Bachelor of Science specializing in exercise science will give you the tools to understand the role of exercise on health and performance. In this program, you'll receive a first-rate education in exercise and sport, participate in research with some of today's leading kinesiologists, and hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment.

Interested in changing your major to Exercise Science? Current EHE students interested in switching their major to Exercise Science can call the Undergraduate Student Services Office at 614-292-9261 to schedule an appointment. Students who are interested in declaring a major in EHE must first meet with an EHE Academic Advisor. To schedule an appointment:

Exercise Science is a competitive major. Students should make every attempt to complete all courses listed below with a C- or higher. There is no guarantee students will be accepted into the full major by completing the minimum requirements successfully.

Minimum Full Major Expectations

  •    3.00 or higher cumulative Ohio State GPA 
  •    30 credit hours (a portion can include transfer credits)
  •    C- or higher in:
    • ENGLISH 1110.0#
    • MATH 1148
    • BIO 1113
    • CHEM 1210
    • CHEM 1220
