Biography

Joe Wheaton is an associate professor in Counselor Education and the associate chair of the Department of Educational Studies. He has recently collaborated with Dr. Helen Malone (Ohio State, Special Education) in the development of an iOS app, called inPromptu, to teach life and work skills using video prompting (and available for free on the Apple App Store). He was one of the founders of the Web Accessibility Center at Ohio State and has a long history of interest in electronic and web accessibility and assistive technology.
