EHE Graduation Celebrations

EHE will celebrate its Summer 2023, Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates with two events.

EHE Commencement for Master’s, Specialist and Doctoral Graduates

Who: College of Education and Human Ecology master's, specialist and doctoral graduates from Summer 2023, Autumn 2023, and Spring 2024.

Location: Mershon Auditorium, 1871 N High St.

Date: Wednesday, May 1, 2024

Times: 
4 p.m. doors open for guests
4:30 students and faculty line up
5-7 p.m. ceremony 
7-8 p.m. reception

Registration is required. A link will be sent by email to graduates.
The ceremony will be live streamed and available on this web page. No registration is required to view the live stream.

Regalia: Regalia is required to participate in the ceremony. Orders can be placed at https://theohiostateuniversity.shopoakhalli.com/purchasewizard/Welcome

You can rent regalia or purchase custom regalia. 
To rent, regalia, you have two choices:

1. Pick up your order in store at Barnes & Noble Ohio State (1598 N High Street), The deadline to order is March 13. Once the items are ready for pick-up, an email will be sent out with pick up instructions. Pick-up is estimated to start the week of April 22nd. Please be patient and wait for the email with pick up instructions. 
2. Have your regalia shipped. The deadline to order is April 7. It typically takes 2 weeks for the items to ship from our distributor, Oak Hall. Once the order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to the graduate.

To order custom regalia, the deadline is March 1. It takes 8 weeks for custom regalia to be hand sewn to your specifications. Orders can be placed at https://theohiostateuniversity.shopoakhalli.com/purchasewizard/Welcome.

Accessibility: Mershon Auditorium does not have an elevator. Main floor wheelchair accessible seating is available for guests with mobility-based needs and their companions. Current ADA standards allow for companion seating of 3 people maximum. To plan accessible seating in advance or make other accommodation requests, please contact Accessibility Manager at accessibility@wexarts.org or call (614) 688-3890. Parking: Available at public parking lots. Standard charges will apply. Recommended: Ohio Union South Garage or Arps Garage after 4pm.

Note: This celebration is different from the university's commencement on May 5, 2024. EHE's Commencement is planned by the college and is more personalized to this student population. All students will be hooded on stage at EHE's Commencement, students will receive their diploma at the university's commencement.
