Reading Endorsement (PK-12)
Come be a Buckeye and earn your Reading Endorsement in one year! All courses have online and in person options.
The reading endorsement is for teachers who want to specialize in reading instruction. This professional development program uses graduate-level courses to train teachers to be highly qualified educators of reading for grades K-12.
Requirements
Prerequisites
- Candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Candidates must hold a valid Resident Educator or Professional License issued by the State of Ohio.
Licensure Disclosure
Ohio State academic programs are designed to prepare students for licensure or certification in Ohio. If you plan to pursue licensure or certification in a state other than Ohio, please review state educational requirements for licensure and certification at go.osu.edu/onground.
