What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?
The Ohio State University has always been a dream institution for me to attend. Researching different programs and interview processes solidified that this was the right program for me. More particularly, I knew I would be guided the best way possible by my advisor, Dr. Turner, as we had similar backgrounds and complementary research areas. Since NIL is such a new area in sports, I knew it was going to be difficult for me to find a mentor that I felt comfortable enough that I was confident in my abilities to succeed as a researcher in the field. However, I have felt the utmost support I could have imagined with the entire faculty here at OSU that has helped me thus far as well as where my future takes me.
