EHE Hangouts
EHE Hangouts provide academic support with the intent to increase student engagement with the college, to improve student retention and to create a sense of belonging and pride in the College of Education and Human Ecology. These groups will also have students interacting and networking with various EHE staff and faculty to build lifelong professional relationships that will hopefully prepare them to succeed in the workforce. Lastly, EHE Hangouts are for students to come together to form a tight-knit community with their peers and to build and establish a support system while in college.
To learn more about these EHE Hangouts and when they will be meeting throughout the academic year, please check out the EHE newsletter that is sent out monthly or email Brandon Hines at hines.383@osu.edu for more information. These groups are open to all students.

I work with you to enhance your study skills and overall academic performance. If you could use some academic assistance, I provide proactive outreach and support. This support could be campus or college updates, study skills, financial resources or other campus resources. It depends on what you need. I want you to become the best version of yourself while in college. I’ll support you accordingly.

Thanks to Nancy Dugan, EHE’s career services director, I was able to get an internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital with their sports medicine department. It was an amazing, hands-on experience that is going to benefit me greatly as I am applying to physical therapy school (for a Doctorate in Physical Therapy).

My transition from a small private school felt seamless, thanks to the services and events provided by Brandon and the Office of Undergraduate Education. They dedicated themselves to ensuring that I had all my questions answered and was in a position to succeed right away. With my major, I have been introduced to a field of study focused on making a meaningful impact on individuals’ and families’ lives. The faculty have also been influential in providing hands-on experiences as well as career opportunities.
