Every year, Ohio State and our education partners work together to develop high-quality educators in more than 50 licensure programs across the university. This commitment to training the best educators ranks Ohio State the best in the state, according to U.S. News & World Report. In 2018-19, K-12 licensure students were placed in student teaching, observation, internship and practicum placements. These experiences, along with an Ohio State education, help develop educators who have a positive impact the moment they set foot in a school.

Inclusive and Diverse Placements

Important to the development of Ohio State teacher candidates are their learning experiences in diverse school environments. It ensures they are prepared to teach all learners no matter their background. Ohio State graduated 397 teacher candidates during the 2018-19 academic year who experienced hundreds of inclusive and diverse placements throughout the course of their teacher education program.
