CAEP Accountability Measures

The Ohio State University’s Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) earned national accreditation by demonstrating excellence in the areas of content and pedagogy, clinical partnerships and practice, candidate recruitment, progression, and support, program impact, and quality assurance and continuous improvement from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). CAEP is a CHEA recognized national accreditor for educator preparation. Initial and advanced EPPs at The Ohio State University are accredited through 2026.  

The measures featured in the data dashboards below are monitored annually by Ohio State program representatives and stakeholders. Ohio State is proud of its candidates’ consistently strong performance on these metrics, demonstrating our educator preparation programs’ reputation of excellence and the success of our graduates during the program and in the field. These measures also inform our continuous improvement efforts to ensure responsiveness to the needs of our students, our partners and the profession.
