Frequently asked questions

Who is eligible to purchase tickets?

Graduates of the College of Education and Human Ecology who are life/sustaining members of the Alumni Association. You do not have to be an Ohio State Alumnus to attend; however, you must be accompanied by an EHE graduate and sustaining member of the Alumni Association.

How do I become a member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association?

By making annual gifts of $75 or more to Ohio State, basic members become sustaining members, helping to support the people, projects and priorities of the university. Gifts may be made in support of the College of Education and Human Ecology, or to any other area of Ohio State. Explore the complete list of funds.

An entire annual gift does not have to go to one fund. Cumulative giving will be tracked over a calendar year, and when gifts equal or exceed $75, the donor will become a sustaining member.

How many football tickets can I purchase?

The limit has increased this year to 4 per household.

Where are the seats located in Ohio Stadium?

Although, we are not given our specific location until 2 weeks before the game, tickets are typically located in C-Deck.

Can I request accessible seating in the stadium?

Persons with permanent or temporary physical challenges who have special seating needs can be accommodated. Please indicate your specific needs, i.e. wheelchair accessible, when submitting your registration.

Can I exchange my ticket for accessible seating on game day?

On football game day exchanges can be facilitated, based on availability, at Ticketing Services located in the NW corner of Ohio Stadium at gate 5 beginning two hours prior to kickoff and remaining open through halftime. All seating is limited; accessible seating is made available on a first-come, first-serve basis and we cannot guarantee accessible seating will be available for individuals needing to exchange tickets on game day.

At what age are you required to have a ticket?

The Ohio State University follows the Big Ten policy of requiring a ticket for everyone, regardless of age, including infants for football games.

What does the cost of registration include?

Registration for the tailgate and football ticket package will include one admission to the tailgate and the Ohio State vs. Indiana football game on October 6. Registration for the tailgate only will solely include admission to the tailgate.

Is there transportation from the tailgate to Ohio Stadium?

Unfortunately, due to high pedestrian traffic, transportation from the tailgate to Ohio Stadium is not available.

Where should I park?

Parking continues to be a challenge on game day. The Arps Parking Garage is the closest to the tailgate. Plan to arrive early to ensure you get a parking spot.

Is disability parking available?

Disability Parking will be located in the lots north of St. John Arena and in the Lane Avenue Garage. The charge for these lots is $15. These areas will both be accessible, while space is available, from Lane Avenue. A current state issued disability placard, along with registration, and the person who owns the placard must be in the vehicle to enter the parking area. (Officers may validate ownership of the placard at any time.) A shuttle will transport guests from the parking lots north of St. John Arena to the east side of Ohio Stadium near Gate 22. This shuttle will operate from six hours prior to kickoff until one hour after the game.
