Graduation Checklist

Apply for graduation – Schedule an appointment with an EHE-OUE advisor prior to the 10th Friday of semester

- Use Express Advising
- Regional campus students must contact their assigned advisor to apply for graduation.

Enroll in any remaining coursework needed to graduate:
- All curricular requirements need to be successfully completed – run a degree audit
- Complete a minimum of 120 total credit hours
- Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA

Complete Student Loan Exit Interview, if applicable
Check Buckeye Link for holds on account (transcripts, financial hold, etc.)
Check Buckeye Link for spelling of your name on diploma and permanent address listed
- Under the “Personal Information” header, click “Diploma Name” to see what will be printed on your diploma. If you would like to change this, please follow the directions on Buckeyelink. The deadline to change your Diploma Name is the Friday of Week 12 for Autumn and Spring graduation and the Friday of Week 10 for Summer graduation.
  
  Note: This is NOT an official name change and a Change of Record form will need to be completed if you are looking for a name change on all university documentation.

Send transfer credits, if applicable
Complete Commencement Ceremony Excused Form, if applicable
Review Latin Honors requirements to see if you qualify – additional information will be provided to eligible students through email
Complete Honors/Non-Honors Thesis paperwork, if applicable
