Samuel R. Hodge
Biography
- Faculty member in the Physical Education (adapted physical education specialization) program within the Department of Human Sciences at The Ohio State University since 1995.
- Engages in teaching, research, and service in both the adapted physical education (APE) and physical education teacher education (PETE) programs.
- In general, his research is situated at the intersections of disability, diversity, and (social-educational) justice with application to how teacher educators prepare teacher candidates for working with a diversity of individuals in physical activity and sport contexts.
- Professor Hodge has established interdisciplinary and international collaborations to ensure justice while promoting the health and quality of life for diverse populations.
