Biography

Stephen John Quaye is a professor in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Program within the Department of Educational Studies.

He has published two books, edited four books, over 20 book chapters, and 17 peer-reviewed journal articles in top-tier journals, such as the Journal of College Student DevelopmentTeachers College Record, and The Review of Higher Education

He also served as President of ACPA: College Student Educators International and is currently an associate editor of the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education.

Quaye's research focuses on engaging in and facilitating difficult dialogues about privilege, power, and oppression; student activism; and navigating and healing from racial battle fatigue.
