Kim Bartley

Biography
Kim Bartley shares with her students over 30+ years of hospitality industry experience. As the former CMO of White Castle Systems, she lead teams to achieve successful outcomes for the 100+year company in all aspects of marketing, social media and communications for both the restaurant and retail divisions. In her growth journey, she also held responsibilities of VP, construction and engineering for 10 years while there, was the lead for franchise partnership for 20 years with Church’s Chicken and initiated numerous new product development and innovation projects.
Prior to White Castle, Kim held various positions at other food companies and ad agencies working with brands like McDonald’s and General Mills Restaurant Group.
In addition to being a lecturer at OSU, Kim is a consultant for Rojek Consulting, working with ad agencies and their clients.
Kim has received a variety of industry recognition including Top 20 Innovators of the Year 2016 and IFMA President’s Award.
Passionate about youth and education, she is an active board member of The Braxton Miller Foundation and Ohio Professionals Business Association, part of the Ohio Department of Education. Prior to those she was also involved with I know I Can, Rotary Club, Children’s Hunger Alliance and Women’s Food Service Forum.
