Schedule an Appointment
Current EHE Students
Students should plan to meet with an academic advisor by scheduling appointments in advance. It is common for an academic advisor to be booked with appointments for a few weeks during certain times in the semester (i.e. registration). In-person advising appointments take place at EHE’s Office of Undergraduate Education, A100 PAES, 305 Annie and John Glenn Avenue.
To schedule an appointment:
- Call our office at 614-292-9261

Non-EHE students
Students who are interested in declaring a major in EHE must first meet with an EHE Academic Advisor. To schedule an appointment:
- Call our office at 614-292-9261
Express Advising
We will hold virtual Express Advising (drop-in appointments) throughout the semester. Students are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Express Advising is available to current EHE students. Please check your EHE Office of Undergraduate Education newsletters or email EHE-OUE@osu.edu for Zoom log-in information. Express Advising is offered:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2 - 4 p.m.
- Extended hours during Weeks 1 and 10 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted for College or University wide events.
In order to serve as many students as possible during drop-ins, please plan on your session lasting no more than 10 minutes. If you anticipate needing a longer academic advising appointment, we encourage you to call our office or schedule an appointment online.
Late Policy
Students are expected to arrive or call in no later than the start of their scheduled appointment time. If students are more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, they will be asked to reschedule.
Academic Advisor Change Request
Academic advising is a continuous relationship between the student and advisor. If students have met with a previous advisor and have an established relationship, or have extenuating circumstances on why you would like to request a different academic advisor, please call our office at 614-292-9261 to set up a meeting with one of our Advising Managers.
