What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?I worked in Dr. Rich Bruno's laboratory as an undergraduate student, where I fell in love with research and the biochemical aspects of nutrition. I love being a part of my lab team because they are always encouraging and helping me to grow.

What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?
I chose to enroll in the Human Nutrition program at OSU because of my passion for health and nutrition. The program provides a comprehensive curriculum and access to well-renowned faculty at the forefront of nutrition science. The program also provides hands-on research experience to help me develop skills that will benefit me in my career aspirations.

What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?
I wanted to expand on Human Nutrition, and it’s ability to be applied with many subjects including Neuroscience. A highlight of this degree at OSU is the comraderie that comes with being around like-minded individuals who also want to pursue this degree.

What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?
I came to this program to conduct research that will advance the field of sports nutrition and help to inform athletes about how they can improve their athlete performance. This degree allows me to investigate the specific mechanisms by which nutritional interventions confer health and performance benefits.

I completed my undergraduate degree here at Ohio State in Human Nutrition, pre-dietetics with a minor in Integrative Approaches to Health and Wellness. I then did my dietetic internship through Cal Poly with an emphasis in wellness promotion, and sat for the RD exam this past summer. I now work part time as a registered dietitian while working towards my MS in Human Nutrition here at OSU!

What brought you to this program? What is a highlight of this degree at OSU?
Ohio State has such a fantastic network of nutrition professionals who really prepared me for my career in dietetics! The entire nutrition community here is just as invested in your success as you are. I knew I had to come back for my masters after such a great experience during my undergrad.
