Additional Funding Opportunities

Please plan ahead when looking into funding opportunities since application deadlines occur at various times throughout the academic year and applications can be quite extensive.

College of Education and Human Ecology Scholarships
Provides students currently enrolled in an EHE program the opportunity to apply for scholarship funding on an annual basis.

Alumni Grants for Graduate Research and Scholarship
Provides grant opportunities to support research and scholarship for doctoral or terminal master’s degree candidates for their dissertation or theses.

Career Development Grant
An opportunity for graduate students to supplement costs associated with participating in career development activities, such as conferences, workshops, and professional association fees.

Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum
Held every spring semester to exhibit the innovative research of Ohio State students. Interested students should submit their abstract for consideration to present and compete for awards and recognition.

EHE Office of Research
Serves as a resource for external and internal funding, limited funding, federal funding and state of Ohio funding opportunities.

Student Life Grad Pad
Provides guidance when looking for GAA opportunities available in various departments of Student Life at Ohio State.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Offers various career opportunities for graduate students. Positions are posted regularly and may require specific qualifications, so read the postings thoroughly and check the site often.

Travel Award Opportunities
Graduate students enrolled in a graduate program within the College of Education and Human Ecology may request funding from faculty for support, up to $350 from their department of enrollment, and apply for up to $250 for a matching award through the Office of Research, Innovation and Collaboration (ORIC) for presenting their original research at national and international professional meetings. Additionally, various offices on campus provide funding opportunities in the form of travel grants. Participating in conferences is a wonderful way for you to network, gain presenting experience, and enhance your professional development.
