The Workforce Development and Education section offers academic programs and courses to prepare professionals in human resource development and adult learning, career and technical education, business education and family and consumer sciences education.

We conduct cutting edge research on the connections between work and learning, and publish the results to transform professional practice and organizational behavior.

This program emphasizes the theory, research and practice of education and training for the workplace in a variety of settings, including K-16 education, private organizations, government agencies and non-profits.
