G. James Pinchak

Workforce Development and Education Teacher Educator.

In honor of Dr. Pinchak's memory, the Department of Educational Studies and the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University have established The G. James Pinchak Scholarship fund. The funds will be used to provide scholarships and research support to students pursuing higher education in Career and Technical Education, and Workforce Development in Education.

Dr. David Stein

Dr. David Stein

Dr. Stein is associate professor of Workforce Development and Education. His work centers on three elements important to the working adult, adult centered of formal learning organizations, ie post secondary, access and availability, and use of formal learning opportunities. His recent research has focused on how working adult learners make decisions concerning participation, choice, and use of technology in learning settings (formal, nonformal, informal).

Dr. Chris Zirkle

Dr. Chris Zirkle

Dr Zirkle is associate professor of Workforce Development and Education. His research work is primarily within the broad discipline of career and technical education (CTE), and more specifically focused on teacher education/preparation and the utilization of distance education methodologies in CTE. His recent work includes a national study of the certification/licensure requirements for traditional/alternative pathways for CTE teachers in the United States, and studies on the barriers to the utilization of distance education in CTE teacher education programs.
